Volunteer Opportunities in Philadelphia

At the C2C Giving Factory, you might inspect books, pack clothing, sort through toys, stuff backpacks, or fill orders for local boys and girls.

Before you come for your shift, look through your home for new and gently used children's clothing, books, safety equipment or toys to bring with you to donate.

Philadelphia Giving Factory hours:

Tuesdays through Fridays:

10:00 am to 5:00 pm

2nd and 4th Tuesday nights:  (must pre-register, first come first serve)

5:00 to 8:00 pm  -  Next Available Date is July 14th, all dates in June are Full

Families and individuals are asked to sign up at least 2 weeks in advance of their preferred volunteer date. 

*Special Events*

We are holding our annual Backpack-A-Thon in late August and need your help!  If you are interested in volunteering that day to help us pack thousands of bags with new school supplies for children in the area please fill out the form below and specify the Backpack-A-Thon as the preferred date. We also need individuals, families and groups to hold drives for school supplies! Please contact Rhonda Feder at rhonda@cradlestocrayons.org for more information.

• All volunteers under 18 must bring a C2C Permission Form signed by a parent or guardian on their volunteer date.
• For first-time groups of 30 or more with kids or students , we require that at least 1 adult leader make a 30-minute site visit prior to the volunteer date for a Giving Factory orientation.
