Host an Event

There are lots of ways for your group or family to help Cradles to Crayons’ kids right in your own neighborhood!

Hold a drive.

A children’s product drive can last for a day, a week, or a month. You choose the dates that work best for your group. Want some ideas to make your drive exciting and fun? How about a Baby Shower, a Beach Bash or Game night? We have many suggestions that we would be happy to provide. And we love new ideas. Please share them using the form below.

Donations for multi-day drives are collected using large Tupperware bins or boxes (C2C does not provide these). If you hold a one-day drive, donations can go directly into a 15’ or 24’ truck you rent.

Ideal for: individuals, families, schools, corporate groups or Girl Scout/Boy Scout troops

Host a fundraiser/friendraiser

Hosting an event at your home is a great way to activate your friends and community to help local children living in poverty. Some fundraising ideas for adults: host a pot luck and invite guests to make a financial contribution in lieu of a host/ess gift; collect donations through your Book Club; invite an independent rep to host a party at your home and split the proceeds. Some ideas for kids: find something you like to do/make and share the proceeds with Cradles to Crayons. Have a bake sale, make/sell jewelry, have a lemonade stand, hold a raffle or a car wash.

We'll give you all the information you need to help you set up your event and make it a success.
