Map & Directions to the Boston Giving Factory

ADDRESS: 82 Myrtle Street Quincy, MA 02171. We are located in the back of “E.F. Smith & Son/Avenue Auction Sales,” a three-story, beige industrial building, situated on a small hill. If you see the entrance to 80 Myrtle Street, you are on the opposite side of the building.

DROPPING OFF DONATIONS:
We accept donations at our warehouse M-F from 9am to 3pm and some weekends from 11am to 3pm (please call ahead to confirm open weekend dates). Please pack your donations in clear plastic bags or well-labeled and sealed boxes. Do not leave unattended donations at our facility. They usually get soiled and are, therefore, discarded.

VOLUNTEER/VISITOR PARKING: Limited parking is available on the street across from our entrance or on Ash Street. Also, ask staff when you get here about parking available in the next-door lot at 108 Myrtle Street.


Driving Directions

From the North (I-93 South):

  • Take I-93 South to Exit 12 (3A Neponset Circle)
  • Bear right at the exit, passing Staples & Walgreen’s Plaza
  • At the first set of lights, bear right and go up and partiallyover the bridge, following signs for the right/fork slpit - 3A/Hancock
  • Turn right just before the first set of lights, at the right/fork split, onto Newport Ave Extension
  • Take a right at the first set of lights onto Myrtle Street and an immediate right up the hill (this is Ash Street but there is no street sign) in front of the beige industrial building
  • Turn left at the end of the building to reach our entrance.

From the West (I-90/I-93 South):

· Take the Mass Pike (I-90) inbound to Boston and then take I-93 South to exit 12.
· Follow the directions "From the North" above.


From the South (Route 128/I-93 North)
:

  • Take 93 North to exit 9 (Adams St, Milton, N.Quincy)
  • Merge straight onto Granite Avenue
  • At the 3rd set of lights, turn right onto W. Squantum St. Stay on W. Squantum for a little over a mile
  • Go through three sets of lights
  • Turn left at the4th light (on the overpass- North Quincy T station is in front of you) and go down the ramp to Newport Avenue
  • Take a left at the3rd set of lights (pass the State Street building on your left) onto Myrtle Street and an immediate right up the hill (this is Ash Street but there is no street sign) in front of the beige industrial building
  • Turn left at the end of the building to reach our entrance

From the South (Route3):

  • Take Route 3 to Exit 19. This exit splits – Follow signs for the Quincy Center "T" station (But not the parking garage).
  • Go straight through the1st set of lights on the Bergin Parkway
  • The Bergin Parkway becomes Newport Avenue in about three miles
  • Continue straight on Newport Avenue (you will pass the Wollaston "T" station on your right)
  • Take a left at the5th set of lights after the Wollaston Station onto Myrtle Street and an immediate right up the hill (this is Ash Street but there is no street sign) in front of the beige industrial building
  • Turn left at the end of the building to reach our entrance

 

MBTA Subway Directions

Weekdays:
·  Take the Red Line (Braintree train) to the North Quincy stop
·  Exit at the North end of the station following signs for Enterprise Drive. Enterprise Drive is a short street that is pendicular to Newport Ave.
·  Turn right onto Newport Ave. Walk up the street to the third set of lights which is Myrtle Street
·  Cross Newport Ave. and take a right up the hill (this is Ash Street but there is no street sign) in front of the beige industrial building
·  Turn left at the end of the building to reach our entrance

Weekends and Holidays:
·  Take the Red Line (Braintree train) to the North Quincy stop
·  Exit at the South end of the station following signs for West Squantum Street
·  Turn right and take a right at the first traffic light down the ramp to Newport Ave.
·  Walk up the street (past the Bank of America ATM) to the third set of lights which is Myrtle Street
·  Cross Newport Ave. and take a right up the hill (this is Ash Street but there is no street sign) in front of the beige industrial building, marked "EF Smith and Son"
·  Turn left at the end of the building to reach our entrance
