High School Volunteering

Cradles to Crayons offers a unique chance for high school students to learn, serve their own community and make a direct impact on the lives of local kids. In the Giving Factory, we'll start by talking about child poverty and homelessness. They then might sort books, pack clothing, clean toys or inspect arts & crafts.

Two-hour shifts for groups of as many as 20 high school students are regularly scheduled during the following hours:

Tuesdays through Fridays: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

2nd and 4th Tuesday nights: 5:30 to 8:30 pm

1st, 2nd and 4th Saturdays: 9:30 to 11:30 am

3rd Sundays: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

(Please note that Saturday and Sunday dates are scheduled starting with the first full weekend of the month i.e. the first weekend in which both a Saturday AND Sunday occur.)

Dates fill up quickly! Many dates are booked at least six weeks in advance for weekdays and three to four months in advance for weekends. Fill out the form below to reserve your Giving Factory shift now.
