Cradles to Crayons Home Individual H.S.

Cradles to Crayons offers a unique way for high school students by themselves or with a few friends to make a direct impact on children who need basic, everyday kid stuff. At the Giving Factory, you might pack clothing, inspect toys, unload incoming donations or fill Kid Packs with these processed donations for hundreds of local kids in need. 

Volunteers work once a week, once a month or during school vacations-- whenever scheduling allows. Individual students regularly volunteer during the following hours:

Tuesdays through Fridays: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
2nd and 4th Tuesday nights: 5:30 to 8:30 pm
1st, 2nd and 4th Saturdays: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
3rd Sundays: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

(Please note that Saturday and Sunday dates are scheduled starting with the first full weekend of the month i.e. the first weekend in which both a Saturday AND Sunday occur.)

Before you sign up, an important note on your first volunteer shift
* We ask that a parent/guardian accompany you for a 10-minute orientation on your first volunteer date.
* All high school volunteers are required to bring a C2C Permission Form signed by a parent or guardian when you first come to volunteer.
* For safety reasons, volunteers are not allowed to help in the Giving Factory with sandals or flip-flops. Dress comfortably for Giving Factory work.
