With Cradles to Crayons, children of all ages can help to make a direct impact on the lives of other children who need basic, everyday kid stuff. In the Giving Factory, groups of volunteers aged 8 to 12 might make birthday wrapping paper, sort building blocks, clean action figures, inspect dolls or fill backpacks. Two-hour shifts for groups of as many as 20 elementary school volunteers are regularly scheduled during the following hours: Tuesdays through Fridays: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm (Please note that Saturday and Sunday dates are scheduled starting with the first full weekend of the month i.e. the first weekend in which both a Saturday AND Sunday occur.) Dates fill up quickly! Many dates are booked at least six weeks in advance for weekdays and three to four months in advance for weekends. Fill out the form below to reserve your Giving Factory shift now.
