Cradles to Crayons Home Families

Cradles to Crayons is a chance for your family to learn about giving together in a way that kids of all ages can understand. In the Giving Factory, you all might inspect games & puzzles, sort arts & crafts or pack clothing.

We need help from families with kids ages 6+ on weeknights, weekends, after school or during school vacations-- whenever scheduling allows. Families regularly volunteer for two-hour shifts during the following hours:

Tuesdays through Fridays: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
2nd and 4th Tuesday nights: 5:30 to 8:30 pm
1st, 2nd and 4th Saturdays: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
3rd Sundays: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

(Please note that Saturday and Sunday dates are scheduled starting with the first full weekend of the month i.e. the first weekend in which both a Saturday AND Sunday occur.)

Before you sign up, important notes on bringing your family
* We ask that 1 adult leader come with every 3 family volunteers under 18 years of age on your volunteer date for a safe and positive experience!
* For safety reasons, volunteers are not allowed to help in the Giving Factory with sandals or flip-flops. Make sure everyone dresses comfortably for Giving Factory work.
