Page 4 of 5 YF Launched with a January 20th Fundraiser
Young Friends We've formed a committee of high-energy and well-connected young professionals who began their new adoption by hosting a fundraising night at Brothers Spano in Rosemont on January 20th. They sold raffle tickets, booked a DJ, and arranged for the donation of the popular nightspot, Brothers Spano, who then donated food and drinks to raise money for C2C. Drawing from all over the Philadelphia region, this energetic young group is eager to help set up our new warehouse, volunteer their time and connections to host product drives, process goods in the warehouse, and be ambassadors to other young professionals. "We love the idea of this hands-on project that benefits so many children in need in our city and region. The real deliverables C2C provides are awesome," said leader Maggie Norrett. Update: On January 29th, Maggie delivered a check for $992.00!
