Champion Corps Program

The Champion Program at C2C is a way for adults to give back and volunteer their time on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Below are descriptions of three different Champion Program positions currently available.

Champion Volunteer Leaders

Champion Volunteer Leader are fully trained to lead or co-lead volunteer groups in a processing station in the Giving Factory and become an essential part of the Operations Team. Click here for more information about this position.

Commitment

Excellent candidates can commit to a weekly or bi-weekly shift (2.5 hours each) for a minimum of 6 months. We are looking for volunteers that are available year-round, but especially from August through January.

As a Champion Volunteer Leader you will:

·         Receive a complete Giving Factory station training

·         Lead or co-lead volunteer groups of 10-25 people

·         Enjoy working with diverse groups of people

Current volunteer shifts needed for Champion Volunteer Leaders:

Wednesday afternoons (1:15pm-3:45pm)
Thursday afternoons (1:15pm-3:45pm)
Friday mornings (9:45am-12:15pm)
Friday afternoons (1:15pm-3:45pm)

Champion Donation Pickup/Delivery Assistant

Champion Donation Pickup/Delivery Assistant, work alongside the C2C Truck Driver to collect donations that will later be processed at the Giving Factory. Click here for more information about this position.

Commitment

Excellent candidates can commit to a weekly or bi-weekly weekday of 8:30am-4:30pm for a minimum of 6 months.We are looking for volunteers that are available year-round, but especially from August through January.

As a Champion Donation Pickup/Delivery Assistant you will:

·         Ride along with the C2C Truck Driver to pick up donations around Massachusetts.

·         Place bags and boxes of donations into rolling bins.

·         Use the mechanical lift gate to raise the bins into the truck.

·         Assist the C2C Truck Driver with distributing the donations in the Giving Factory.

As a Warehouse Facilities Champion Volunteer you will:

·         Maintain the appearance of the C2C Giving Factory.

·         Work alone or in small teams.

·         Sweep aisles and production areas.

·         Assist staff with trash removal.

·         Sweep and mop restrooms as needed.

·         Help keep communal spaces clean and orderly.

·         Assist with keeping product organized on shelves.

·         Track and inventory product as necessary.
