Family Volunteer Days

The Cradles to Crayons community numbers thousands of youth and adults working together to make a difference in the lives of tens of thousands of children each year.

Cradles to Crayons offers families the opportunity to teach their children, age 5 and older, the values of service and philanthropy while volunteering together to help children and families in need.

Family Volunteer Days

Bring your children, ages 5 and up, for a special tour of Cradles to Crayons and have fun sorting, selecting outfits and shopping to help children in need.
  • Each Family Volunteer Event provides a unique and meaningful opportunity for families interested in spending time together with their children or grandchildren, demonstrating the importance of giving back. Children as young as 6 years of age are welcome.
  • First-time families are invited to arrive 15 minutes early for a full tour of the Giving Factory Warehouse.
  • Family Volunteer Days feature an interactive orientation to help children and teens have a better understanding of the impact of their work at Cradles to Crayons, followed by a volunteer activity where families will have fun sorting donations, cleaning toys & shoes, selecting outfits, assembling school supplies or shopping to help area children in need.
  • Our 2016 Family Volunteer Day schedule is coming soon!
