Volunteer with Cradles to Crayons

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! Cradles to Crayons is one of the premier volunteer experiences in Boston for youth and adults.

At the Giving Factory, there are various volunteer activities in which you can take part. You can participate as an individual or with your family. You can volunteer through a school, community, faith-based group or through your corporation. What's more, our generous space allows us to accommodate groups of up to 80 people.

To participate, please fill out the volunteer request form below at least two weeks in advance of when you would like to volunteer. Learn more about the Volunteer Experience.

We are open for volunteers:

Tuesdays:
10:00am to 12:00pm

Wednesdays through Fridays:
10:00am to 12:00pm
1:00pm to 3:00pm

2nd and 4th Tuesday nights:
6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

1st, 2nd and 4th Saturdays:
10:00am to 12:00pm
1:00pm to 3:00pm
3:00pm to 5:00pm (October through December only)

3rd Sundays:
10:00am to 12:00pm
1:00pm to 3:00pm
3:00pm to 5:00pm (October through December only)

If you are bringing a group with kids under 18, we request that you please abide by the following guidelines:

Bring 1 adult for every 3-4 elementary school students
Bring 1 adult for every 5-6 middle school students
Bring 1 adult for every 8 underclassmen (9th and 10th grades) and 1 adult for every 10 upperclassmen (11th and 12th grades)

Please Note: Each participating child under the age of 18 will need a completed waiver form, signed by their parent/guardian, or they will not be able to volunteer.

Important: Weekend and Tuesday evening volunteer shifts tend to book up 2–3 months in advance. Please keep this in mind when looking for dates to volunteer as an individual, family, or group.
