How to Host a Drive to collect children’s everyday essentials
Encourage your community, place of work, school, or religious institution to clean out their closets – reuse, repurpose, and recycle those items that their children no longer need. By donating unwanted children’s items, you are providing vitally needed everyday essentials to disadvantaged children while also keeping those items out of landfills.
There are more than 400,000 children, ages 0-12, around the Greater Philadelphia region living in poverty… and poverty is rising faster in the suburbs than in the city. By organizing a collection drive, you are helping us address the critical need for children’s everyday essentials and providing relief to thousands of families in our own communities.
