Bob and Tina Disco were introduced to Cradles to Crayons when their oldest daughter, Vanessa, participated in a corporate volunteer day. Later, their youngest daughter, Nina, asked party guests to bring donations for Cradles to Crayons in lieu of gifts to celebrate her 16th birthday. The Discos attended last year’s Un-Gala and will support our Ready for School initiative through their family business, ATS Springs. Bob & Tina believe that the work of Cradles to Crayons is critical, especially for helping parents get back on their feet after a difficult situation.
The Kupper family has been supporting Cradles to Crayons since the ‘early days’ when our warehouse was still located in Horsham. Scott and Kelly continue to volunteer with their daughters, Maddy and Alex, and enjoy participating in special events such as Dads & Daughters, the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, and the annual Un-Gala celebration. This year, the Kuppers have joined the Un-Gala Planning Committee as hosts. They value the mission of Cradles to Crayons and appreciate that volunteering at the Giving Factory, together as a family, helps demonstrate the importance of giving back.
Trupti Trivedi & Joachim Rebholz participated in their first Cradles to Crayons Un-Gala in 2011. Since then, with their daughter Maya and their son Kiran, the family has continued to volunteer and participate in product collections and donation drives, including activities hosted by Maya at The Shipley School. Trupti currently serves as Co-Chair of the Cradles to Crayons Philadelphia Family Advisory Council, where she helps to guide family programming at the Giving Factory and in the community.
